A Bristol jobless 20-year-old was caught in the bushes with his trousers down, accompanied by a prostitute. Matus Klempar, of Gullybrook Lane, Barton Hill, admitted persistently soliciting a woman for prostitution on February 9.
Bristol Magistrates heard at 8.30pm that night he was seen by police approaching a known sex worker at the junction of Warwick Road and Fox Road, Easton. The woman went to speak to a man in a parked car nearby, then came back and walked off with Klempar. They were found in some bushes by officers, and Klempar told them he had already handed over £30 for oral sex.
In interview, he admitted he would go to Easton twice a month to pick up prostitutes and the court heard he had previously been cautioned for soliciting.
Klempar, who is on benefits, was given credit for his early guilty plea. He was fined £66, ordered to pay £85 costs and also a £15 victim surcharge.
