Dissatisfaction is one of those emotions that we generally consider undesirable. It may sometimes live in the background.  Often it creeps up on us when life seems to be going along swimmingly.
Declaring our dissatisfaction challenges us.  We mute ourselves because we believe that admitting it means we aren't successful or because we believe it will be interpreted as whining or blaming (by others and by us).  We should be happy and we interpret that dissatisfaction is the opposite of happiness.  The problem with denying our dissatisfaction is that it persists.  We need a new approach to dissatisfaction if we want it to be of value.

A reframing of dissatisfaction might begin with asking what it is.
Dissatisfaction would be tension somewhere in the body, a sense that something is incomplete or out of alignment.  In our attempt to make sense of disappointment, we take these cues and label them as bad emotions due to the discomfort we would rather avoid.
NEWS Jan11 - Art - busy shoppersAnd often that is what we do.  We try to convince ourselves that we are not dissatisfied (denial), we distract ourselves with some form of excitement (shopping, television, food), or we simply blame our dissatisfaction on what we believe is the source (spouse/partner, job, money) and never face it.
But what if we considered that dissatisfaction (and every emotion) is there to inform us about our interactions with the world?  What might dissatisfaction be trying to tell us?

There is nothing better than a good kiss. It is so under-rated. Think back to when you were young many moons ago and discovered your first kiss. From closed mouth, to open mouth, to tongues, to deep French kissing, toe curling, tingling through your groin good.

Clean fresh breath, smooth stubble free skin. Aligned teeth. Just the right amount of saliva, enough so that it is not a dry crusty kiss but not too much so you get covered in slobber.

Then there is the technique, slow and loving, building up to deep and passionate where you are so hungry for their next kiss that you are holding their head longing for more.

One good kiss could make you fall in love, well you did as teenagers. As adults it is more a mental thing.

Fingers running through hair, clasping each others hand, fingers entwined, stroking the side of the face, clasping by the ears. The careful tongue movement. Two tongues becoming one.

Kissing the ripeness of the neck, gently flicking the earlobes, leaving the ear alone, slowly leading down to the throat and nipple and then one very under-rated part of the male anatomy, the nipple, carefully flicking with your tongue making it hard and throb. Kissing and licking the smooth inside of the bicep. Across the torso leading to the smoothness of the inner thigh, tracing the skin with your tongue. Then I am sure you know where the kissing should lead to!

In my books a good kiss can beat sex hands down!

From a couple of things that have been posted lately it seems there may be some members not fully understanding the subtleties of how images work since moving to the new forum

Uploading Images

If you go to 'POST REPLY' (rather than the quick reply box on the topic page) or 'NEW TOPIC', below the posting text box is an 'upload attachment tab'. Click on this and then browse.

You can chose an image from your computer in the box that appears. Once you have chosen press 'open'. The box will disapear and you are back to the main screen. Press 'Add the file' and the image will be uploaded. By default the image will appear at the end of your post. You can position it within the post by clicking the position you want it to appear in your post and then pressing 'Place in line'

Linking to images

You can place an image in your post that is elsewhere on the internet by clicking the button above the text entry area. A box will appear where you can enter the address (url) of the image. Press OK and the image will be inserted into your posts.

Viewing images

Images will appear within posts, but if they are larger than a pre-defined size then they are reduced to maintain the page layout. Simply click on the image in the post to see the full size image in a lightbox.
