A 21-YEAR-OLD man caught kerb-crawling three times has been served with a two-year antisocial behaviour order. Adrian Kurcz, of Whitechapel Street, Old Basford, was also ordered to pay £200 in fines and costs by Nottingham Magistrates' Court.
On each occasion he was caught by undercover police officers from the Notts force's On-Street Prostitution Team. Kurcz was first caught on June 27, 2008, when he tried to solicit a woman for prostitution in Balmoral Road, in the Arboretum area. Kurcz was arrested and interviewed with a Polish interpreter. He received a police caution after admitting kerb-crawling.
He was next caught on February 14 this year, when he tried to solicit another woman in Vickers Street, off Mapperley Road. On this particular occasion Kurcz had taken a taxi to the area and the taxi driver was also arrested.
Finally, in August this year, Kurcz was caught again in Balmoral Road, when he approached a woman police officer on foot. He tried to beckon her into The Forest recreation ground, asking her for sex for £20.
